From Mon: Spence is currently on Nitrous Oxide to try to vasodilate the lungs to oxygenate better. His sats are hanging in the 70s (ok for him with his shunt). We just need to wean down from the 100% that he's on now. It's a day-to-day roller coaster, but all we can hope for is baby steps and few if any backslides. It's gonna be a long ride for Les and Spence and everyone.
The latest. More encouraged today. Spencer has both eyes wide open! The swelling in his little face is improving drastically with Lasix. He is still requiring the max O2, but they are going to change the vent to a mode more conducive to breathing on his own to encourage that.
It's gonna be a very long road, but I really think that God is going to bring Spence through this and I know that it is constant prayers from you guys that he uses to do his work. Keep it Up and please ask others to pray as well!
